Kristine (Tina) Chase, PT, DPT, PhD(c), Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI where her focus is pediatrics, motor control and beginning research. Dr. Chase has over 20 years of clinical experience in a variety of pediatric practice settings and has been a Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist since 2004. In prior roles, Chase served as a Director of Clinical Education, a training mentor and discipline coordinator for Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) Program and has earned numerous awards for leadership and teaching excellence. Chase is currently completing a PhD in curriculum studies with an emphasis in health professions education. Her dissertation surrounds the adoption of the movement system by pediatric physical therapy educators in pediatric physical therapy education.
